I went out this afternoon to test out some of the deals at Target, CVS and Walgreens. Overall, I would say it was a huge success!
Here is what I was able to snag:
TARGET:
6 boxes of Nature Valley Granola Bars (from the Dollar Spot - 4pk boxes)
Excedrin Extra Strength Gel Caps - 20 ct
Rimmel Mascara
Archer Farms Spaghetti Sauce
Total before coupons: $16
I used the following coupons:
2 $1.50/2 Nature Valley Target coupons
1 $0.75/2 Nature Valley coupon from 3/6 SS
4 $0.50/1 Nature Valley coupons from Coupons.com and the Target website (the $0.50/1 on Target website is a mfg coupon not Target so this worked perfectly for the 2 print limit)
$3/1 Excedrin Extra Strength Target coupon
$0.75/1 Excedrin Coupon from the 2/27 SS
$2/1 Rimmel Product printable
$2/1 Rimmel Target Mobile coupon
Total after coupons: $0.08!
The overage on the coupons actually covered my $1 Archer Farms Pasta sauce in full!
CVS:
Revitalens - on sale for $7.89
Cottenelle 4 pack - $4.59
Dove Men's Deodorant 2 for $4
Revlon Nail polish - $3.99
Total before coupons: $22
I scanned my card at the CVS coupon machine when I arrived and got a $4/20 coupon (and note that is $20 BEFORE coupons).
I used the following coupons:
$4/$20 CVS coupon
$3/1 Revitalens coupon from 3/6 SS
Coupon for a FREE Cottenelle 4 pack from a previous Facebook offer
2 $2/1 Dove Men+Care coupons from here
$1/1 Revlon Nail Polish coupon from 3/6 SS
Total out of pocket - $5.43
Extra care bucks received: $4 for the Revitalens and $3 for the Revlon = $7 = overall $1.57 money maker for me!
WALGREENS:
2 Children's Pediacare 4oz - $6.99 each
1 Mentos - $0.99
1 6pk of Air Heads - $1
Total before coupons: $17
Coupons used:
$5 off Pediacare coupon from Walgreens Ad (x2)
$3/2 Pediacare printable (no longer available)
$0.50/1 Mentos from 2/22 RP
$0.50/1 Airheads box from 2/22 RP
$2 Walgreens RR from a previous purchase
Total after coupons: $0.87
Totals for the day:
Before coupons: $55
Total spent out of pocket: $6.38 (but I made $7 in ECB!)
And THAT is why we coupon. :)
